Social Value & Community Benefit
Many of the raw materials that are used to make the products come to us as are considered ‘waste’ from other industries or are donated to us. Instead of them going to landfill we use them to create the products we then sell. Our products are created by individuals on valuable work experience and skills development opportunities, these individuals might not get these chances with another employer. Our workshop staff work with these individuals to create handmade woodwork products.
Our main products are wood based, made in our workshop in Port Glasgow. These range in style from handmade quaichs to a variety of home and kitchen ware, such as serving boards and other serving and storing items to display boxes. We also have the ability to laser print, engrave, stencil and carve on a variety of products.
Because we have a flexible feasible business model offering a wide and varied range of products we can supply small, medium of large quantities of any of our products depending on your needs. Many of our products can be personalised with a message or business logo using our new laser technology. We can have imaged lasered on to many varying surfaces to provide an enhanced personal level.
