Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

Location: Gourock

Salary: Dependent on experience

Job Description

To work alongside management Front of House to ensure a high standard of service is provided to customers

Organising the kitchen to a high level in compliance with health and safety regulations and hygiene standards

Providing innovative ideas for new menu items and specials

Place accurate orders for the business, ensuring correct amounts and quality is regulated

Ensuring all members of the kitchen are preparing meals and items in accordance with menu specs

Ability to accurate cost and price menu items for sale

Able to train others about producing quality food and working towards short and long term targets

 

The Ideal candidate will be;

Experienced Chef with at least five years of management experience.

Able to develop and implement strategies to minimise wastage along with front of house management.

Good understanding of stock control and finance.

Be able to develop and manage a strong team.

Experienced in setting and working towards targets.

Strong focus on attention to detail.

Passionate about quality food.

Friendly and upbeat personality.

Salary negotiable dependant on experience and hours
