Trust Care Services provide care and support to service users in their own homes.
Tasks include stimulation for the service user, assisting with shopping, domestic chores, personal care and respite for carers. We can provide a visit from a minimum of ½ hour care up to a full package of care.
We provide carer support and our visits are from 8.00am until 11.00pm, 7 days a week - this can be through our personal care run, respite sitter service or evening service.
WHO CAN USE THE SERVICE
Services are provided free of charge to anyone who lives in Inverclyde and suffers from dementia. Referrals can be made through Social Work, GP’s, District Nurses, OT’s etc.
The project also provides care for non-dementia sufferers – respite for carers, etc - there is a charge for this is service. Please contact our office for more information.
The shopping project provides a service to people in Inverclyde of any age group who are unable to do their own shopping. We provide staff to do a shopping and then deliver to your home and put items away if requested. There is a £3.50 fee for this service and service users must be referred by social work or home care at CHCP.
